The Sunrise Academy is an educational establishment focusing on Africans and African Americans with troubled backgrounds. By creating a positive, structured environment with plenty of support and mentoring, the academy aims to turn their lives around and make them into productive, positive members of the community.
The client wanted a straightforward website displaying what they do, their ethos, curriculum and events, and other content such as photographs, employment opportunities and an events calendar. They wanted a serious, can-do appearance to mirror the way they approach education.

The Challenges The client wanted a simple, traditional looking website with an uncluttered feel to it. Graphical content would be shown but the main focus is on the text, so the site presented few challenges. |

The Solution We designed and built an HTML and Flash hybrid site, with the unobtrusive, text-based animation appearing on every page, welcoming visitors to the site. The top menu bar feature drop-downs to visit internal pages, and a slideshow gallery demonstrates some of the academy’s achievements. |

The Results Sunrise Academy were very happy with the website, which fulfilled their brief to the letter and now acts as an instantly accessible prospectus and brochure for parents and would-be students. The timely delivery of their website helped Sunrise Academy satisfy their government grant requirements. |
