The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of QA experience including systems testing software suites, strong knowledge of quality assurance testing procedures and methodologies, the desire to participate in the development of state-of-the-art Web and software products and thrive on fast-paced environments.
Senior QA Engineer: As Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a quality product through comprehensive testing and product documentation. Your specific duties will include creating system test plans for product releases, creation of test scripts, conducting testing, creating test data, logging defects, and signing off on product quality. You will work closely with the development organization to understand the product functionality in order help expand our product certification and test automation processes.
Desired Skills:
• Conducts all phases of testing by creating and executing test plans and test cases
• Generate bug reports
• Experience in QA automation tools, reporting, web monitoring, and code coverage tools
• Track bug reports to closure
• Adherence to QC processes
• Verifies that products are developed according to functional specifications
• Facilitate test plan review meetings with developers and business owners
• Prepares test environment
• Researches moderately complex problems
• Be the final stop for ensuring defect-free products delivered to internal as well as end customers.
• Experience in White box testing, UI automation planning and test script creation.
• Experience in testing API and web services.
Technical Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus 3+ years software quality assurance experience (Sufficient level of experience may be substituted)
• 3+ years software process improvement experience
• Test planning and defining test metrics
• Desktop application and Web application testing
• Good Knowledge of PHP, Internet Technologies and E-commerce applications
• Automated testing software
• Function tools: WinRunner/QTP, Rational Robot /Silk Test
