Detective Lookup wanted to simplify access to the various databases by using a single online resource that allows not just private detectives but anyone wishing to find out information about certain individuals to log in with their account and search for the relevant information. They also wanted a complete professional redesign of their website to propagate the image of trustworthiness and credibility they have built up as a company. And finally, the client wanted clients to be able to purchase subscriptions to the service online.

The Challenges The main challenge with this job was integrating the main client website with more than 30 databases in dozens of countries. As each database naturally has its own security in different forms, we needed to make sure access would be granted through the master site. |

The Solution Koves designed the front page with a blend of HTML and Flash, the latter element containing fast-moving promotional messages to grab the attention of the viewer. If the invitation to subscribe is taken up and customers purchase access, users can then enter the main protected part of the site and start to take advantage of Koves’s successful integration of the multiple database access required in the brief. |
